Edwina, Cleopatra, Edwardo....
The clock striked 12. Blessed birthday Edwardo!
The urban life celebrated Sir Edmund Ooi's birthday on lygon last nite right after Ps Russell and Ps Sam shared with us the vision and mandate for the Empowerment Centre. Can't wait for things to start with that. I reckon everyone wants to get their hands dirty with such an awesome project. I know i want to. It's gonna be awesome!
Anyways :D we didn't go to any fancy koko black or max brenner, although it was what we had planned initially. We all ended up on the grass near some 2-wheel-lover group. Thank God it didn’t rain yesterday.
We surprised Ed. Sang Happy birthday. Demanded a speech. Presented a very nice ‘pie’. Sat around some more. Laughed a bit. Duck, duck, duck, goose. Then the madness starts…
I believe we should never leave alvin and paul (or any of the guys for the matter) with a full bag of flour. It's as bad as putting an AK-47 in the hands of a rabied baboon. i was petrified.
BUT some of us were lucky enough to escape. actually only one person did. He won't be so lucky next time..
We all grew a little wiser last nite. or at least we all looked that way.
Edmund, you're a blessing to us all. May the passion and tenacity that God has placed in you never die but may it fuel you on to greater endeavours for Him. like paul believed in hebrews 12:1,
'Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,
and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.'
See you at the finish line mate. I'll be there to take your photo as you cross it ;D
