This semester break has been a truly good one. Blue mountain, Harry's chili hotdog, almost hitting a Roo on the way to sydney, krispy kreme, futsal tournament, world cup finals...it was all good. Hillsongs was mind blowing, but coming back to planet shakers was absolutely what i needed. This is suprising for me. My heart has been allowed to expand so much by the culture and the passion of the church. I must admit that when i first attended PS i was a skeptic. Coming from a much more traditional background it was all truly alien to me. Yes, i have been to PS conference back in Malaysia before but that was more like 2-3 night rallies. This was church. Honestly, my first impression of PS was that of a flashy and skin deep church. But as i've learn more about the leaders, i know now that they are ordinary people, some even from broken backgrounds, used by God to do extra ordinary things. believe you me, their faith is as contagious as a yawn. It makes your spirit jump for God.
Ok, some may think that i have been a sell out at this point, but truth be told, my heart yearns for the kingdom of God. and what i have found here is a church tat lives out kingdom cultures. if ever i really want to boast, i will boast this, where there are people hungry for the kingdom of God, there will He reside. I'm not just talking PS, i'm talking about people who are like those in Matthew 5:1-11. My prayer is that people will really, really, look pass titles and church structures and seek His kingdom. Not just comfortable building their own church, but able to say, "hey, i want to partner with your church cause i see people who are hungry for Him". At the end of the day we must all remember this, there are no fences in heaven.
